Evalyn Hodges took digital pictures of all the choirs during the Follies Lock-In and Dress Rehearsals. There are about 1000 pictures in large format (4.2 gb) – some candid, some posed, some good, some bad. They are all unedited, but they are available to you. If you’d like a copy of the photo DVD, then bring in a blank DVD disk labeled with your student’s name and “Hodges Follies Pictures” to the choir room.

Madonna Johnson also took about 500 digital pictures (2.2 gb) of the Follies performance and is making them available. She is sending in a master DVD to the choir room. If you are interested in getting a copy, send a second blank DVD labeled with your student’s name and “Johnson Follies Pictures” to the choir room

Please note these are not the Follies video DVD, these are still shots only.

To protect the DVDs, I recommend putting them in a jewel (plastic) or paper case. Since there are so many pictures a CD will not have enough capacity so please make sure you send in DVDs in the DVD-R (writable DVD) format that has enough capacity.

Volunteers are needed for;

SCHOLARSHIPS & SCHOLARSHIP REVIEW COMMITTEE – 5 Volunteers needed to review senior choir scholarship applications. The choir awards 2 scholarships to graduating seniors. Scholarship applications will be available on Tuesday, March 23rd. Applications will be due by April 6th. Committee review will then begin.

CHOIR BOOSTER BOARD 2010-2011—We need your help! We need you for next year’s Choir Booster Board! The more volunteers we have, the more positions we’ll create! Please email us atcommunications@mcneilchoir.org if you are interested.

CHOIR UIL REHEARSALS: Additional rehearsals are required to prepare for Choir UIL. Please note dates and times below and check Charms for updates on rehearsal times. Generally, rehearsal times are 8:15am in the Choir room for everyone except Chorale which will be at 4:15 pm. Men are Mondays, Kantorei are Tuesdays, Varsity on Wednesday morning, Chorale on Wednesday afternoons and Meistersingers are on Thursday.
